We started as a Saloon on a 5 acre
sandbar in the middle of Lake Kegonsa in 1895! George Barber was
serving beverages to fisherman and other thirsty individuals who visit
him by boat! And this is How we became the Anchor of Stoughton. In
1933, Paul Barber opened Barber’s Bay Inn Restaurant, and to this day,
we are proud that the Anchor of Stoughton is still owned and managed
by our Family.
