Planting
Specifics
We transplant
our trees with a tree spade. Spade planting provides the benefit of
freshly dug trees and a large rootball. Unlike the small rootball found
with balled and burlapped trees, the spade rootballs contain a higher
percentage of roots necessary for successful transplanting and vigorous
adaptation to the new site.
- Site planning--We will be happy to visit your site and recommend
the right species for your landscape.
- Tree selection--You may want to visit our farm and select your
trees, or we will be happy to select them for you.
- Scheduling--We will arrange planting to fit your needs (7 days a
week) and schedule underground utilities marking prior to planting.
- Your tree will be freshly dug and planted to maximize tree vigor
and adaptation.
- We provide you with printed tree care instructions.
- One year guarantee on any tree we plant.

Woodee Nursery
is woman owned, licensed and inspected tree plantation just north of
Edgerton, Wisconsin. The nearest city is Stoughton Wisconsin,
which is recognized as Tree City USA #13
We have over
2,700 premium shade
trees including silver maple, green ash, red maple,
white oak, white (paper) birch, sugar maple and black walnut ranging in size from 2ft to 15ft.
 All
trees have been carefully selected for hardiness in this growing
zone. Our trees are lightly pruned for shape and fullness.
Our trees
are grown in organic soils that encourages dense root development
helpful for successful transplanting. |
